He composed fabulous scores to movies like Star Trek, Total Recall, The Mummy, The 13th Warrior and many more. Actually too many to write here.

I will greatly miss his great music, which has given lots of inspirational source to my mission designing and for moments I will never forget.

Thank you Mr. Goldsmith, and farewell. Sleep in light. *silence*

    RIP.
Still passing away from best end. :(

Here's list of movies in which he has "been".

At least cancer is much more understandable cause of death than stroke at "young" age.

I wonder who's next, there's still over one third left from this year.
  • RubberEagleRubberEagle What's a rubber eagle used for, anyway?
For a Jerry Goldsmith fan like me this is indeed a sad day.

I love so many of the scores he did, and i don't think i ever came upon a bad one.

I ordered his U.S. Marshalls score just a few days ago... :(

Ack! That's no good! I have many of his soundtracks in my car, on my DVDs, on my computer, and elsewhere. Thankfully, he didn't leave nothing behind.

That is quite unfortunate. I have all the soundtracks listed on the first post and those are some of my absolute favorites. I have over 100 soundtracks and the Goldsmith ones are sooo good. I'll miss him.
