ok, this is gonna be......[URL=http://www.scifi.com/atlantis/cast/]different[/URL]. i cant really believe that they're using the character of McKay of all people. good actor who does the character well, but boy is the character annoying.

ahh well....we can but hope they wont make it suck too badly.:rolleyes:

    I just noticed something. Spoiler: They replaced the actress that played Dr. Weir, the woman who took command of the SGC when Hammond was given command of the Prometheus. I wonder how are they gonna account for this in season 8 of SG1? The new uniforms do look pretty gay like the crusade uniforms in the later episodes.

    I think the series will do well... Stargate SG1 is what... 9 seasons now? Thats damn long for any show let alone sci-fi. The fan base is there (and here!). So I'm looking forward to a successful run

    it looks like it could be good, provided they continue to write stories the same way they have been writing them as of recently.

    The actress hired to play Dr. Wier had been finalized for Atlantis before shooting started on the season ender last year, she was not available for shooting then, so they had to hire someone else.

    some info for those who dont know:

    Spoiler: At the start of the next season of SG1, Carter, Daniel and Tealc go in search of the Asgard to find out where in the hell they were during the whole Anubis thing. We find out that the advanced replicators were quick to turn off the time dialition device and now they are back and pissed off. The Asgard help Jack and free his mind from the ancients technology and then again ask for our help in defeating the replicators.

    Sometime during all of this General Hammond is re-assigned (for real this time, Don Davis is not going to do the show full time for the last season), Jack gets promoted to Brigadeer General and placed in command of the SGC (this is also to accomadate Richards lower shooting schedule). Jacks character is supposed to grow and he questions his ability to be a paperwork leader.

    Also sometime during all this, Sam is captured by the advanced replicators and tortured by number 5 (the replicator they used to escape), hes quite mad at her, but still in love with her.

    Shortly after the start of the next season is when Atlantis will debut, it will have a crossover with Jack and Daniel, but Carter and Tealc wont be in the pilot. Chances are good that they will show up in later episodes though.

    Well, never talk to someone from finland then because we get every TV show years after they've been shown in USA.

    And currently they aren't showing Stargate.
    I think we are still on season three. (or was it end of second)
    And then they strangely enough show every damn soap serie and other shows which kill brain activity.:angryv::angryv:

    no worries. id probably have found out sooner or later anyway. i just need to find some way to see them....

    I've seen SG-1 on and off since about season 5... No idea what's going on half the time anymore.
