I wish I had your teacher when I was younger :)

Though at my school they did let us read our own books because they knew the school's own selection wasn't that great.

[B]...
Talking of B5 drinks, anyone remember what some of the drinks were called that Londo etc drank? I don't recall any names of drink. And I mean made up names.
:)

There was a book called "Dining on Babylon5" that had recipes for most of the drinks on B5 including:
Hot Jala (cognac,cointreau, blue curacao)
Brivari(brandy,rum,triple sec)
Jovian Sunspot(cream of coconut,cran-apple juice, vodka, OJ)
Taree(red wine+ alot of other stuff)
Bor'Kaan Volshool Ivanova(sparkling water,lemon juice,bourbon,rum,vodka,grenadine)
Orcha Juice(OJ,pineapple juice,lime juice,lemon juice,ginger ale)

All just different mixes of liquors, juices and the like. I'm no bartender, so I don't know what these really are.

Cognac and blue curacao?! Oooo, that don't sound so good:eek:

I always wondered if that book had the recipes for Spoo and Minbari Flarn, and, if so, what they were.

So far, all we know is Spoo tastes... Spooish (which is not at all like chicken), and Flarn is incredibly salty.

Hm. Then again, I'd rather not know.

Fresh Spoo kinda makes me think of runny Fetta cheese. Not appetising, but hey what the heck ...

It has spoo and flarn
Spoo is
12 garlic cloves
4tbsp Olive oil
fish stock or clam juice
aged spoo (sea scallops
butter
flour
salt&pepper
caviar
Not a fish guy my self, so I want to wretch.

Flarn is pictured as green
canola oil
onion
garlic cloves
jalapeno chillies
garam masala
tofu
peas
eggs
dried breadcrumbs
almonds
salt & pepper

I picked the book up when I was on vacation in the UK in 2000.
Can't say I've tried anything, but some looks somewhat interesting.

As far as cognac & blue curacao, I don't drink, so I don't know how disgusting some of these things are.

hehe wicked! I quite like the sound of some of those!
I do remember that book now but I never bought it. Thought it was abit daft at the time and was wondering what they would come up with next. Now however if I saw it I'd probably buy it. :)
As for flarn, I thought it was made of tofu.
Btw who made these recipes up? It can't really be connected to JMS.
• BekennBekenn Sinclair's Duck
It is; it's officially licensed from WB.

The book even made a cameo appearance in the sanctuary scene from A View from the Gallery.
