I used to hate Lyta as much as the next guy, after "The Gathering" and "Divided Loyalties". When I realised she would be a credited cast member, I was livid.
However, if you watch carefully, you can actually see her acting improve. By Season 4, she was really very good (see "Moments of Transition"). She does slip here and there, but in the end she was plus to the show. I don't know how much of the show you've seen, Zathri. If you've watched the whole 110 episodes, IMHO you're just wrong. You want to kill Marcus? Marcus!!! Sure, he had flaws, but he had so much style.

"Five minutes after that, I'll be the only person in this room left standing."
He was Galahad who never reached the Grail.
Marcus was cool, and he'll probably return when his people most have need of him.
Lochley was okay. I'd let her live, maybe becasue she was better than I'd feared she'd be, after watching the appalling Lois & Clark.

I think the majority are in favour of Byron-cide. No arguments here. Superciliousness and stubbornness is always unattractive.
I'd kill the Clark-propaganda ISN anchorwoman, the soldiers who stormed ISN headquarters, and the pilots who bombed Marsdome, since without people like them there would be no oppressive regimes.
Most of all, I'd kill Dr. Franklin. Preferrably in Season 2 before "Walkabout", when he was less annoying. I was watching "Divided Loyalties" recently, (for the 5th time) a found myself barracking for him to be the evil Psicorps mole. Oh well, now I've got that out of my system, I'm sure someone will respond defending him, but he and Byron were the most disappointing characters, IMHO.

To be honest, I feel a bit in-the-wrong-place with so many people with the urge to kill.
Anyway: I would not like to see any character killed before their time. Maybe Sheridan survived too many no-win situations. But his career is the scope of the show.
I wouldn't have missed the guy who switched off the light on B5 in SiL -- who was it anyway? What would have changed if he wasn't there at all

Zack should have died after 2 minutes on screen...What an ID-10T! I know Garabaldi needed a second but PLEASE get a better actor than Mr Greece.... I don't know how many times I have convinced someone to try B5 and then been embarased because the episode is Zack-Crap-Tacular

Oh no .. but if you stray you might find out about the Teddy Bears that will invade in Series 4, and the Army of Cloned Besters in Series 5!
Go back! Go back before it is too late and you are spoilt by the Spoilers! Go back before Vorleddies get you!
I would kill whoever came up with the idea that sinclair needed to go. I don't care what anyone says. imagine if it was miss. sakai who gets abducted instead of anna sheridin, and the whole thing with garibaldi would have been even more painful if he was betraying sinclair. ARRRRRRRRRRRRRR! Now you've done it. You've just flat ruined the ending! HEHE!
Would be interesting if that actually happened though.
Kill Lochley. Can't stand her. She looks terribly cheap, and frankly unrealistic.
After all, how many Captains in EarthForce have time to go to the tanning bed in a regular basis.
A better question: why would they want to?
I think Lochley was a huge wrench in JMS's great vision. Ivanova would have been exponentially better.
Definately Byron, the little turncoat. He was no less a bigot than Bester.

Kill Zack, the guy came way too close to betraying his friends with the Nightwatch plus he is a total kiss ass.

Neo, there is no SPOO.
Then you'd have to kill, in this order, the story, JMS and Michael O'Hare.
I thought that scene with Zack and Lyta in the elevator in "Third Space" was pretty frelling funny!

Have you seen the Farscape DVDs? Great stuff.

Farscape is an example of what Maya can do for a space scene, so I'm counting on some good stuff coming out for B5: LotR...
Make us proud Slade!

But I must admit. in sci-Fi, if you kill a main character, he/she should stay dead.
