Lord RefaLord Refa Creepy, but in a good way
wii...

So say we all, but anyway.

It fucks up if i try to connect it all automatically, so need to do it manually.. but da thing is, where do I find my SSID and Wep key thingies?

There's some info, but they're using a different XP than I am. Cuz there's no network and internet connections here, just single network connections and internet connections.

Then ofcourse, in the network connections there's two local area connections (other's my adsl and the other one's the nintendo usb wi-fi) and some third connection(1394 connection).

But none of them have any wireless networks thingies.

Gasp.

Oh well.

If you're using a separate wireless router, looking on your desktop won't help. You need to use the router's configuration page. If you're using a USB dongle that supports software routing, then you probably need to install its software to configure it. If you're using the Nintendo wifi USB dongle, then the Wii has an option specifically for that.

    1) Do you have a WLAN? (I know, stupid question, but still...)

    2) Do you use a WLAN Router, or a WLAN card in a PC as AccessPoint ?

You normally find both the WEP Key and the SSID in the Accesspoints Configuration.

If you use a Router, check the manual for info on how to access the configuration (normally done via browser, and the target is the router's IP i.e. 192.168.0.1 or sometimes a "real" URL like www.routerlogin.net (newer netgear routers for example) )

Since you can't find any WLAN connection on your PC, i'd guess the PC doesn't use a wireless connection...

Well, No.. For my knowledge.. I dont use WLAN to connect to internet. I've got the ethernet card inside the pc, and this blinking adsl modem next to it.. and that nintendo wi-fi usb dongle attached to usb drive. I know Wii wii has the option JUST for that, but when I do put it, I get that error 51340 error.

When I tried to manually set the things up, I was able to get two different ones..

But no, it doesnt work easy way.

Try searching for those errors via google. I got one when I set up my wireless on it, and a quick search found the answer in no time (I had to set my router to channel 1 or 11).

I'll give it a try tomorrow, now I'm too busy downloading asian hardcore pornography that some might consider deviant.
