Community Newsletter - a good idea?

Hya all. First of all I am back to haunt you! lol.
I have been busy working 6 day weeks recently (past 6 months) trying to pay off debts! Back for a bit now.
I am mulling over doing a community wide 3D newsletter, not just B5/Sci-fi but it will probably stary out that way as I haunt B5 forums!
Just wondering if it is a good idea really. I recall how the old Firstones Newsletter aka [i]The Station[/i] only ran for 6 issues! 2002 wasn't it?
Anywho just toying over the idea really.
It'll contain images, meshes some contests, sci-fi/3d community news etc.
Thoughts anybody? If you are intrested I am playing around with a few layouts - trying to finalize the basics.

Yeah, the newsletter never caught on. Theres nothing preventing you from starting again, especially these times. :)
