Yeah, I'm totally not into suits, but some guy on another forum gave me a Paul Stuart by Southwick suit for free ($8 shipped), so what the hell. Picture blurred partially by caffeine, partially to protect my identity. Maybe I'll take a better one once I get around to shaving.

Was gonna say that the distance to the mirror threw off your auto-focus a tad...

    ;)

Now where's that camera? I see only P&S.

Theoretically, autofocus shouldn't have any trouble with a reflective surface. It focuses on what it sees, not based on physical distance to an object. So if you take a photo in a mirror, it just focuses on twice the physical distance.

Yeah, I was shaking my hand slightly. It's a Nikon Coolpix L4. Between rebates and discounts for this and an HP385 photoprinter I bought (which I'll flip on eBay), I think I'll make around 60-80. Not the best camera (in fact, it's closer to the worst camera), but it does everything I need right now outside of art photography, and a DSLR was completely out of the question.

And, yeah, unless there's something on the mirror that the camera focuses on instead, autofocus can't tell the difference between a reflection and distance for obvious reasons.

Phase detection of SLRs works differently so I'm not sure about that.
