So I'm watching this commercial...

and it features the Holiday Hawk...

Don't think too much about it, so I go outside, and like I've been noticing over the last few weeks that fish are dissappearing from our little coi pond.

When I went outside I saw out of the corner of my eye a bird take off from the vicinity of the pond, and when I turned to look...

Well let's just say he/she had a good Thanksgiving...

    Someone in our neighborhood was losing fish from their backyard pond. They figured it was raccoons...until they caught the culprit: a great blue heron.

    Fish dissappear from my pond over the years. Of what I can remember, an Orfe has vanished (a 7 inch one) and a small Ghost Carp.

    This morning, a big Blue Heron was standing in the middle of the pond looking up at us with questioning eyes...
