    As much as I despise US politics and voting, this is one of the rare times where it may actually make mildly appreciable difference.

    Im kinda getting irritated with all the crap being thrown around too. Things are getting very ugly here in the US, Im now starting to wonder how long before we chuck the idea of balloting out the window and go with bullets.

    Mudslinging on the sort of scale seen in the UK and US arrived in New Zealand a couple of months ago. I think most of the country was in shock at what our politicians were doing, for a while, as well as being pissed that they weren't just getting on with the job.

    Well, all the firefights Ive had at my corner 7/11 were over things other then politics, but Im sure thats comming soon.

    Anyways, right now the electronic voting systems are a complete mess, but thank god for pennsylvania for proving its not fraud, but just incompetancy somewhere along the line, in 37 counties votes for Republican Rick Santorum are also being flipped, the same is happening in elections in other states, I know of problems in Texas inolving the same happening to republican canidates,so its not just happening to the democrats, thus it isnt some Diebold or ES&S conspiracy.

    I always found it amusing that the articles about votes being flipped by the machines never mention any republicans being flipped, only democrats or unnamed candidates, suggesting some massive, country-wide conspiracy.
