The Original Trilogy
Lord Refa
Creepy, but in a good way
in Zocalo v2.0
Goddamnit.. Just watched the original trilogy in it's original form...
And I still get goosebumps in the same spots!
I just love those movies.. There's so many scenes that I've never forgotten, so many music themes that I keep humming in my head sometimes..
And some people complain that the acting was as bad as SWINO (Star Wars In Name Only).. but fuck if I saw any.. It was still good imho. It didnt creep me out like SWINO did..
Besides.. SWINO didn't have much to remember it for.. There was that hot twi'lek babe.. but so was in the original.. and there was duel of the fates and Darth Maul.. but original had Imperial March and Darth Vader (In all 3 movies too, except the song!)
Still.. I watched them for the umpteenth time and never get bored.

By choice.. I wanted to watch them in order 1-2-3-4-5-6...
I suggested date-order.
Which, I will add, was warned against by yours truly.

I guess the only good thing about watching it in the order you are is, they get better as you go. Spoiler: (Until of course jedi)

OMG! We have another one!
I mean, WTF is with a ring explosion? When you blow something up you should have either (a) momentum based explosion based on the direction of the attack or (b) a mostly symmetric explosion based on no momentum being carried by the attack. Under no circumstance should a ring type explosion occur unless something is highly asymmetric about one axis!

It was better than TPM and ATOC, but not up to ESB standards...

Another one what?
Update: I did infact watch Episode 4: A New Hope last night, it was pretty good. Since I am a huge Harry Potter fan, I couldn't help but comparing each series in a small way.
(*ducks out of way of flying objects for even thinking of making any sort of comparison* :P)
... like how each main male protagonist has a history that is significant later, how each movie is good but the series as a whole (which I will have to have faith in until I watch the other 2) is an amazing story. Each has rich characters etc...
I couldn't also help but notice that those were all dangerously vague statements :p
defensively vague :P

Why another Star Wars virgin of course. They are pretty rare, kinda like unicorns..
anyway, your comparison with Harry Potter disgusts me, and its also quite true.
