Lik-Sang Closes Down
WORF
The Burninator
in Zocalo v2.0
For those of you planning to import Wii's from out of your region, it looks like you'll have to find another way.
Lik-Sang closed down after Sony's lawsuit prevented them from selling PSPs in Europe.

Sony can go jump off a cliff imo.
This is even worse for me, as if I buy a NZ Wii it'll have to be replaced in a few months when I leave NZ.

Biggles, you're leaving middle-earth?
Care revealing your destination?
Valinor?
If the States is Valinor, I pity the Elves.
Considering the badly drawn map in the books, Valinor could either be in the states, in britain, or on the moon.
;)
So anyway, I've preordered from somewhere local now (I hope mod chips don't take too long). Hopefully I'm not too far down the queue. I got an amusing email from them saying they had shipped my deposit, too...
If you're going to Australia, then you should be in the same region and that shoudln't be a problem.

The other option, of course, is to just buy another Wii after moving... they're pretty cheap, after all. ;)
...The simplest Gamecube modchip just allows out of region games to be played (which is all I want) ...
There's also the Freeloader, a software that allows games from another region to be played ( i have it, and it works with the 1 non-european game i have...)
He's headed to Tasmania...
;)
Ah! So elves live in Tasmania nowadays?
How the f#$% do they expect to control something as amorphous as the web ??
ipv6?
That's only the protocol, I mean an alternate network not bound to the internet that we use today.
The problem with a new system is that it would require new infrastructure which is hella expensive. Any new network would probably be built off of the current internet.
Do people even still have dial up modems anymore =P
I do. All my computers have modems in them, except my highest end one, and I have a whole box of various modems, both internal and external. :)
