I think I'm bored with the internet...

...I hate to say it, but I really am. The novelty is gone, its just a tool for me now. Sure there are a few sites, such as this one, that I visit regularly and enjoy, but that's it. I sit here tonight with time to roam the vast landscape of the online world, but I find myself staring at a screen, thinking there is nothing I really want to see...nothing at all.

    ehh, i know what you mean. I many times sit in front of the computer knowing the vast world that lies in front and don't want to really see anything. I half heartedly browse a news site or two hoping something new will jump out and catch my interest and I'll walk away.

    It's sad, isn't it? We were born into an era where the internet was this great, amazing fix-all. The 'net could do anything you wanted! The problem is, when you can actually do almost anything, it gets kind of boring. We've gone through incredibly rapid development phases, and now things are slowing. That which was once shiny and new is but a dull memory...

    It's amazing to look back at the web and see so much of what was looking so silly and rudimentary.

    This sounds more like you guys had too much of the internet, like you had too much icecream... just reduce your online time and then do something else with your spare time.

    Like building fancy $150K motorcycles and make a TV show out of it and a lot of money along the way.

    Well, I know how important the internet is for me atleast. When I turn on my computer and for some reason my connection to internet doesn't work I just turn off my computer if I can't fix it.
