I keep seeing the ad for this movie... They keep saying this is his final movie...

Am I missing something? He retiring or did he die or something?

    No, it's his final martial arts epic. He basically isn't doing any more wuxia movies. Which is curious, really, because all of his recent ones, including Fearless, have been extreme Chinese nationalist films. Unfortunately, finding any firm information on why he chose to do this is pretty hard, at least in English.
