    Looks great, too bad it's being wasted on an MMORPG tho.

    The corperation thing is a neat idea, but it's doomed to failure. Why? Because what player in their right mind wants to MINE STUFF all day long. The only way for that to work would be to allow corps to buy robotic auto miners (could be very expensive). Otherwise, the entire economic model goes out the window.

    From what i understand,you wouldn't really have to assume a single task and stick with it on a permanent basis though...


    If i understand what saw on the video correctly,any given player can become wealthy in any number of ways,including mining,comerce,weapons developement,etc,and become an independent operator later on or even switch to another corporation outright,where you could assume and entirely different role altogether...


    Since they're inspiration comes from games like elite,i'm hopefull that it'll turn out to be a kickass game... [img]http://216.15.145.59/mainforums/smile.gif[/img].

    those graphics remind me of GPolice.
    (Anyone ever play GPolice, was hard, but the graphics were absolutly stunning! came out for win98, and STILL has better graphics then many popular games, even had anti-aliasing in the games engine! it always got bad reviews though, stupid reviewers never stopped to learn how to play the game!)

    those shots do look cool. wish it were a flight sim.

    If you think the screenshots are nice...you should see the video,especially the high quality version...

    The amount of detail that the developers are adding as far as the ships themselves,the weapons fire effects,the damamge modeling and overall environments are truly something to behold...

    In other news I just picked up Sinistar Unleashed by THQ today for $4.99 at CompUSA.
