[quote]The scariest damn film you'll see this year. It will leave you staggering out of the theatre, slack-jawed and trembling. Makes 'Fahrenheit 9/11' look like 'Bambi.' After watching this movie, your comfy, secure notions about America -- and about what it means to be an American -- will be forever shattered. Producer/director Aaron Russo and the folks at Cinema Libre Studio deserve to be heralded as heroes of a post-modern New American Revolution. This is shocking stuff. You'll be angry, you'll be disgusted, but you may actually break out in a cold sweat and feel a sickness deep in your gut; I would advise movie theatre managers to hand out vomit bags. You may end up needing one.

If that was all that the movie can offer, I won't have to waste any more of my time. But of course I'm not part of the core audience...

Ok, first I couldn't see the trailer, but I could hear it. They apparent went out to find the segment of the population that fell asleep during civic class. Every one of their interviews "on the street" was an idiot.

First, of course the Federal Reserve is private organization and it is a cartel in the technical sense, not in the Columbian drug lord sense with which most Americans associate the word.

Second, the personal income tax does not go to service the debt only, even at a high 8% rate, there is still 100 billion more collected than serviced. The rate of treasury bills is closer to 4.5%, which means 360 billion more is collect than goes to service the debt.

Third, what do they propose to do if they eliminate the income tax? Sales tax? Fine lets take a system that appropriately taxes the wealthy with a much greater burden (the top 25% of tax payers pay 4/5ths of the all the taxes) and replace it with a system that taxes the income of the poor at disproportionately greater % as a sales tax would.
