Babylon 5 episodes added to iTunes

in Babylon 5
Just so you all know, Babylon 5 is the latest TV show to be sold on iTunes.
The episodes are in the original 4x3 aspect ration, and "The Gathering" is offered in the original version. It seems that, for the moment, only the first season is offered (plus the pilot).

Of course, the soundtracks are still not available on the iTMS.

Is video sold on iTunes still crappy resolution?
Unfortunately yes, and can only be played on crappy i tunes player. Not worth bothering with unless its something you missed and really want to see it.
You can also play it in crappy Quicktime, crappy Frontrow, or a crappy iPod.
if you dont have a crappy ipod, then you cant watch the crappy video on it.
...this has been some of the most stilted cussing I've ever done.
Well, maybe you should write the damn Warner Brothers and tell them that their insistence on stupid bloody DRM is just handing money to Apple on a damned platter by preventing interoperability.

IS the video not crappy if you watch it on a Mac?
The point wasn't the crappy resolution, though, it was the dearth of ways to view it.
Well, considering all of the factors... yes, the video is quite craptastic if you watch it on a Mac. Considering that the video is compressed and sized to be watched on a three-inch screen, it would be hard for it not to be. You're asking for trouble if you blow it up to fullscreen on any computer monitor. I imagine if you plugged it into a TV, it would be acceptable, considering the lower resolution.

one of my friends with an Ipod plugged it into my TV to show me the quality. its watchable, VHS quality at best. but it is watchable.
