Without casting judgement on the movie before I have seen it, am I the only one who was slightly disturbed by the trailer?

I lived through it, i dont need any fucking movies of it. tastless bastards.
To the makers of this movie... DIE IN A FIRE!
Death to them all! So soon! it's not even 100 years since it happened yet.. :'(
I'm surprised it took them this long to make some movies about what happened but I have no interest in seeing either of them.
Worf
Might be time to have him forcably committed.
WTC is another matter.
burying it only makes it fester
grow up
explore it, feel it, let it go
But again, I still think it's too soon.
There has been many films, Alive is one and that was disturbing. You could even look at every WW2 film and say exactly the same thing. The movie industry loves making money from peoples unfortunate events in life.
Do these films give money to the victims families?

Actually, Flight 93 was made with the permission of the families of those who died onboard.
And to whoever said grow up, were you there? if so then maybe you've the right to say that, if not, then shut the fuck up.
I am sure after Pearl Harbor the first movie about it stirred the same reaction.
Was Tora Tora Tora the first serious Pearl Harbor film? If so I wonder what the reaction was, especially since the director was so even handed with the Japanese.
Jake
I'm going to apologise in advance if i offended anyone with my last post, as you can tell i'm a bit passionate about this subject.
It's just SB, he has no feelings, especially when it comes to bad things happening to americans.

Tora Tora Tora was made in 1970; so while I'm sure it stirred up strong feelings, it was made almost 30 years after the event.
What's more, in 1970 all one need to do was turn on the news to see war first hand, which may have accounted for its poor showing at the box office. Then again, the war didn't seem to affect Patton.
The trailer. Listen to the music in the end. The part after "unconfirmed reports of a plane..." when the image switches to a firetruck. And exactly the same when a woman is hugging a bedsheet afterwards.
Listen to Babylon 5 - sleeping in light music....
Similar? I think so...but B5 music was better
Dangit...
WHERE FOR ART THOUGH MUSIC OF B5?!?
I lost all my B5 music awhile back...aside from the ITF Music I had on CD. :(
We give money to therapists to explore our pain etc. Is a movie any different?
I agree though, I generally hate the idea of movies made to profit from such events.
The people who went through it get nothing from it.
It's the world we live in...
