I knew I shouldn't have gotten that new vomited version even when it was on 19.90 euro discount.. Havent even watched the extras yet even tho it's been almost 6 months... :p

Bah. I paid for the stupid version too, because I wasn't expecting this (which is why I have a copy of the laserdisc rips that appeared about a year ago).

Same here.. Burned them on flashy coloured dvds too.. The first one is red.. second one is dark blue and the last one, return of the jedi, is pink.

I wouldn't mind owning both versions.

The one that edits out all the shit from the prequel trilogy as well, including gungans.

No it's the one that edits out the prequels all together, erasing them from existence and memory. ;)

Oh, I'm sure you could salvage a watchable minute or two from the prequels.

This will mark the second time I have bout these movies. The first time was for the vhs version many years ago. Sadly, during all the moves Ive made they got lost.

I do have a rip of the laser disk versions on cd, but I will be looking foward to picking up these dvds for sure.

So this means I can fnally retire my ancient original VHS boxset and get them on DVD?! I'm glad I managed to resist ever buying any of the altered versions.
