The exact same thing happened to my parents when they put liquid dish soap in the dishwasher... only not quite. ;)
My question is, why was there that much foam stored up to begin with?
When it comes to aviation fires, there's no such thing as overkill in putting them out. The equipment in those aircraft costs incredible amounts of money, and the planes themselves may be loaded with highly flammable and/or toxic substances.

Ive actually watched a plane burn its front half up, leaving oddly enough the last third of the tail intact.
Its a very disturbing thing to see.
