Wow! That sounds great! Any idea if it's only Nintendo (and Sega it looks like) made games, or if there would be other companies, like in my example the Kunio games made by Technos/Million? And maybe even the Japanese games that weren't released in the US? I don't even care if they'd be translated.

I expect that at first it will be only Nintendo and Sega games, but over time other companies who made games for those consoles would be insane not to add them, as it's a revenue stream with very little work.
CNN reports Wii is in production and that some industry insiders are saying possible september releace!
they won't release it in september, that's when they will announce the last bit of secrets for it.
I bet it will be an october launch. A nice head start over the faulty PS3 and I don't think they ever launched in october. And since the N64 was september and the Gamecube was november why not october?
Hard to say. PS2 is making a killing still, but the DS is p0wning the PSP. There are all kinds of polls which shows exaclt the information each side is looking for =P
My vote is for nintendo because of price and the market (everyboy) they are targeting as oppose to Sony's smaller market target (kids with rich parents and HI-DEF TV owners).

Yeah, I know, the PS3. Isn't going to be $600 or something? But I want to play Metal Gear Solid 4 so much. Maybe I'll wait until a price drop, but who knows when that'll happen? I still think the Wii looks like it will be the best system so far though.
Just to throw a nudge at my candidate for the winner of the handheld wars, I have a DS Lite and I'm very pleased with it thus far. Fun and innovative. :p
The only problem is, that it has five dead pixels on the touch screen, but when the importer & warranty repair crews in Finland return from their summer vacation sometime next week, I should be able to throw this baby back in for a new screen.
Thus far Phoenix Wright, Castlevania DS and the New Super Mario Bros. have been very entertaining. Looking very much toward Hotel Dusk and the remake of FFIII
Wow. Sadness sounds really cool. What they're describing is exactly the sort of game I've been wanting these people to make for years, and one of the reasons I love Shadow of the Colossus. I really hope this turns out good.
