It's been dominating my life since before the Skirmish Pack was released, and I still don't have as much time for IFH as I would prefer. Many of our team members are also drowned in their "official" jobs, severely limiting their time... But, and I will never get tired of saying it, it's not nearly as bad as you might guess (and it's not worse than that, you smart asses).
We have spent the last 4 months working on 2 main things:
1) Writing the script for "Black Omega" and another campaign, to which it's tightly connected (in fact, "Danger and Opportunity" is even more tightly connected to it). This work is yet unfinished, but I think that there is a chance that you will be able to get a glimpse on the story in the near future.
2) Technical challenges. We're planning some significant engine improvements for the new project. How significant - that remains to be seen, but the main directions are [b]rendering system[/b] and [b]physics system[/b]. We're experimenting with different aspects of the above mentioned systems, and I think that in the coming weeks you'll get some announces about the results.
There is another area of our special efforts: models. We are going to remake ALL the old models to match the new standards of visual appearance. You are going to like the difference... :)
So, everything is going well. Always remember that:

The D&O update that is available on the ifh page has multiplayer support
