He did an AWESOME job on the ship, and guys... it'll be PLAYABLE.. [img]http://216.15.145.59/mainforums/biggrin.gif[/img]
Everything we're doing here (with maybe the exceptions of First Ones races) will be playable races and ships in both single and multiplayer campaigns.
The First One races (including Shadows and Vorlons) will probably be playable in single player modes right across the board.
We just don't want the game to get too unbalanced once we hit the multiplayer servers.. One player could bring in an Earth Alliance fleet of about 5 ships, and run smack into a Vorlon flotilla that the other guy thought to bring to the table. Wouldn't be fair in the slightest..
Once AA2000 picks up his confirmation email (today or tomorrow) you can email him directly at the new email address I just set up for him at our project... and the website is almost ready to roll too.
We decided to get the models going first and foremost, then bring someone in for the website and for the web portal as well...
Went through our Minbari stock yesterday, and noticed that one of the ships that was canon, had been seen a lot, and *wasn't* in our fleet was the Minbari Flyer.
Read up about it and how it was created inshow, and used that as a basis for kitbashing our ingame Nial.
But here it is.. these are the stock textures that came with the Nial btw (I haven't touched them yet). Setup is that this is a Flyer leaving Minbar:

Hey, I'll tell you what.. if I can get permission from AA2000 for this (and I can't see where he'd have a problem with it), I'll do up some wallpaper in 800x600 and 1024x768 of the DarkStar and put it up on our new website for grabbing. How does that sound?
