Something Strange....

I was looking up for Starfury pictures to use as a reference for texturing when I came upon this site.

Now tell me, does this look peculiar or what?

    I think I saw that render once, years ago. Judging by the White Star model used, well, it's a very old fan render. It's right up there with Fabio Passaro's Centuari fighter model being used on a book cover. With the exception that that was, you know, domestic. And the prior book in that series had a cover which featured (I am not making this up) the Battlestar Galactica with a flying saucer embedded in it's ass. The artist was pretty good with Photoshop, I have to admit, though he still ends up on the shitlist for stealing pictures off the internet rather than doing things legal and aboveboard.

    But, that's neither here nor there....
