Seen any good movies lately

Hotel Rwanda was epic, as was fight club suggested by some of you.

Last good movie I saw was Curse of the Were-Rabbit.

Previous to that was 40 Year Old Virgin, which, given the title, sounds like it should be a rauckus amoral sexual romp, but it reality it is a pretty sweet movie...

    Brokeback Mountain. Flawless movie imho.

I want to see Kinky Boots, although I'm worried about seeing the actor who played the oprative in serenity as a drag queen :D

I saw Downfall a few months ago. Superb film! Well worth a look.

Please see The Constant Gardener. No one did, and it makes me very sad.

It's tied Fight Club for my favorite movie. Innocence, Twilight Samurai, Lost in Translation, and A Man Escaped (you might have better luck finding it as Un condamné à mort s'est échappé) are tied for second.

I was pretty suprised when I watched Love Actually again (Good Film) and he was playing Knightly's husband.

Except the unrated edition, which was a pretty awful version. It ruined the otherwise good comedy that was the original by adding in stupid shit that was there simply to please the teenage and college crowd wanting profanity for no reason.

Napoleon Dynamite, Howls' moving castle, Collateral and Zoolander are all 10's for me

That was the version I saw, but I guess since I didn't see the original, I had no comparison.

He was also in Four Brothers, which was also surprisingly excellent.

Last I saw in theaters was Syriana, and, before that, Good Night, and Good Luck. Both were very good.

    A semi-related suggestion:

Three Kings. I love it, and think it's one of the most underrated films of the '90s.

The ending was a cheap copout, but it was still pretty good. I did really like it.

For the more 'stupid' comedy that I enjoy: Legally Blond, Miss Congeniality, and Bubble Boy.

Schindler's List, The Great Dictator, Stand by Me, Trainspotting.

I'm sorry, I watched it, and I just don't get it. It wasn't funny.

The Big Lebowski. I watched it for the first time a week ago, and it's one of the most hilarious movies I've ever seen.

Orgazmo is very worthwhile. Pretty good random entertainment. Never seen Basketball, though.

    Its Baseketball, not basketball ;)

That's a poor spot for me to make a typo ;)

I also need to see Team America: World Police.

Team America is very funny the first few times i watched it, tho by the 4th time i saw it i couldnt stand it anymore.

the last film i actually went to see was serenity i think. i want to see syriana, and good night and good luck at some point. everyone ive spoken to who's seen it says lucky number slevin is quite good, so i guess i'll have to watch it at some point
