Babylon 5 Action Figures.....

I have quite a few of the B5 action figures that were released a couple of years ago...but I wasn't overly impressed with them -- Very little articulation, likenesses were just OK, and the paintjob's were so-so.

Now if McFarlane Toys did B5 figures, that would rock.

Or maybe Kaiyodo... then they could have had THIS kind of detail:

    yeah the B5 figures were disapointing, they were a rushed job really. The figure of Kosh was ok, but I can never track one down.

    I saw one in an import store (chinatown, oddly enough), it was friggin 40 bucks.

    though I don't think that was a McFarlane one.

    though his stuff kicks ass, Ryoko (and Ryo-okhi, hehe), Akira, the horror movie ones (ASH !). I wonder if they ever released those UO2 figures ?

    Peronally, what I would like to see, would be a "PC gaming heroes" collection, or something of the like. Like have Figures of action game characters, like JC Denton, Gordon Freeman, Cate Archer, Konoko, Garrett (this is just off the top of my head). Or perhaps mini-collections, like Tribes or Counterstrike (I wouldn't be suprised, in fact, it'd be downright cool, no smack talking li'l kids). Perhaps the bad guys, too (HL Garg and Marine, Gunther Herrman & Anna Navarre, ETC.)
    Hell, it wouldn't even have to be all action-game characters. I'd love to see figures of Guybrush Threepwood, Minsc (and boo !), and a Worm.

    though that says nothing about how much I would want a model/toy of certain vehicles in games (C'mon, Grizzly Tank, Dreadnought class corvette, "Eloise", and Perseus fighter)

    One thing I've wondered about, since I've not been "enlightened" by the show yet, but why do they all use giant versions of real-life weapons (like the Above is a SPAS-12 shotgun, and I saw the $40 one with a Steyr AUG) ?

    No, the Eva Figures are not made by McFarlane. They're made by Kaiyodo.

    The UO2 figures are, according to sources at McFarlane, still going to be released.

    I was lucky with those miniatures Messiah, I picked up about 6 or 7 different boxes from a local games store. Each one had 5 miniatures and they only cost £2 a box. [img]http://216.15.145.59/mainforums/biggrin.gif[/img]

    Here's an interesting bit: A company called "Milo's Workshop" is going to be creating stuff from Crimson Skies, Mechwarrior (I assume these'll be just the mechs, not like those figures from the show), Max Payne, and for some reason, Myst.
