I liked the story and the obscurity when I was in high school. Now I've been stuck with it for five years, and I'd have to change it all over the place if I decided to switch. I suppose I may yet. I don't know.
If I was going to change my name that would be it.
Probably 'Sable Black'
really... if you want to do this... you really have to know yourself, ask others how they percieve you, pick a name that really matches your persona. Nobody really gets to pick thier own name, nor do they get the chance to make it something that really means something to them. This is an opportunity few people get. I would think long and hard about it.
In all seriousness, I have been thinking about this for years. I still haven't come up with anything definite. I'm not going to pick something someone suggests just because I'm running out of time, but I figure people on here might have a unique perspective, and that might lead me in a direction I hadn't yet considered.
Apollo is really cliche in my opinion, although I love the classical theme. If you're genuinely interested in antiquity, have a trawl through the peiod in a few history books and see if there's anything that takes your fancy. If it wasn't so outlandish, I'd love to be called Scipio Africanus. ;)

Why not go all out? Publius Cornelius Scipio Africanus The Elder... might be hard to put on a business card though. ;)
Then again, "defeater of Hannibal" would be quite a feather in your cap... might even get some t-shits printed to go along with your business cards.
Back on topic (somewhat) if mythology is your thing, Ulysses has been used quite a bit by some famous people. Of course, after Ulysses S. Grant (American Civil War General), I think of Ulysses Everett McGill (O' Brother Where Art Thou?). "Baptism! You two are just dumber than a bag of hammers." :D
Guys, I was mostly kidding about Apollo. I'll admit it has some appeal, and, yeah, I've looked at mythology, but I doubt I'd go with it. It's got style, but I don't think it's me. Still welcoming non Apollon suggestions, however (or I guess if you really do think I should take Apollo, dust off your polemics!).

You wouldn't have to change it everywhere. Live a double netlife! ;)
Anyway, if you ever do want it changed, it's no trouble for us to do so.

I dislike it enough as it is. And it's a girl's name.
Why'd you pick it for here if you don't like it? ;) We can change your nick here, if you like. Just tell me what you want it changed to.
Its the perfect name.

Anubis (SP?), Osirus, something of Egyptian folklore?

I like the image of a Principe running through a Carthaginian pikeman with his gladius. ;)
Anyway, Anubis. How cool would that be?
