    I understand, that it's the deep emotional bond with religion and religious icons that makes the muslim world so furied about the pictures... hell, the same kind of reaction happens nearly everytime when an ordinary human being creates deep emotions towards something and someone tries to violate that bond (intentionally or unintentionally, doesn't really matter). For example a long-loved pet animal dies and if someone says that it should be celebrated by eating the pet in a foreign traditional way, the owner(s) with his/her/their nearest supporters have a tendency to lash out.

    Deep emotions can make people stronger, but at the expense of rationality. Therefore that was an amusing cartoon. :)

    Oh that was great! I never laughed that hard in ages. I do agree that the US Government and press is getting to be panzies.

    If it wasn't for the internet, we wouldn't have any freedom of speech of press at all, dispite we are "supposedly" have that by the constitution.

    The US is free, but we are just as caged like everyone else is. We are just burying ourselves in Government and trying to cover everything up so we don't "upset" anyone.
