Monty Python's Holy Grail Ale?

Lord RefaLord Refa Creepy, but in a good way
Anyone ever taste this?

Just saw a bottle on sale at my work , and figured I'd have a try tomorrow.. Not usually too fond of beers, but it's the Holy Grail! :)

  • I saw that one at a liquor/etc. store in Houston, TX (the amount of imports and microbrews you can find in that city is amazing). Didn't try it, seemed a bit expensive to me and I'm not that much of a Monty Python fan.

I am very fond of beers, especially ales, I do wonder how good that one is.
Maybe one day I'll go visit Houston and look for it.
  • I've tried that couple of years ago and I'd say the only reason to buy such beer is the awesome bottle label. :D

If you want to spend your money on some tastier ale instead, I'd recommend Samuel Adams Boston Ale, Fuller's London Pride, Spitfire, Coopers Pale Ale or Centennial Pale Ale from Stadin Panimo. Fuller's ESB, Fuller's 1845 Celebration Ale and Huvila ESB are the finest bitters I've ever tasted.

Next I'm about to test the quality of Marston's Strong Pale Ale, which has actually the honor of being the 100th foreign beer I've ever tried. I've also drunk 74 different Finnish beers so I probably know what I'm talking about... :)

Edit: good stuff this Marston's too!
