Message to all members:
As some of you may already know, I have experienced a relatively harsh (financially) year. Things have been tough, but I've continued to put money on the table for firstones.com. To be exact, $100 per month, often with bandwidth excess charges. The wonderful people at RadiusCo have been very tolerant, waiving these excess fees in an attempt to get payment to them, but neither I, nor they, can hold out for long at the current rate.
Lately, I've been digging into the seats for nickels and dimes for this great place, but I've now run out of funds. I'll be plain and simple about it: FirstOnes.com is $200 in debt, and I've got no way of paying it all back before the end of the month, where it will become $300. On August 26, I'll be moving onto college where I'll have even less cash available to pay for this site.
My primary problems are as follows: I have just taken up a true on-the-books job, meaning I'll finally have a steady source of income, but it won't really change anything until a few weeks. Second, the site is growing. It's growing in all directions, but I can't
So here's what I'm asking: FirstOnes needs some sort of cash. Anything will help. It does not matter. All that I'm asking for is some sort of liquidity which I could use to pay for the site. As it turns out, I can't even afford to get home.firstones.com off the ground. The problem there lies in the activation and monthly fees of the merchant control panel. I can't afford to put it on anything right now, so I'm dead in the water in that area.

FirstOnes.com's webalizer statistics. THis handy little program records the activity of firstones.com. Incredible little bugger, eh? Check out this last month's activity! And ignore anything before april. There were some glitches.

I've come up with a few solutions on my part that can lower the cost about $15.00 per month. Once everything is finalized, I will tell the new person about them.

You could always transfer it to my company account if Sanfam can't do it.

Is there a fee for using paypal on my end?
I'm going on vacation for a week, but I can give some money as soon as I can move money into my debit account.

Passive fields. January two thousand and twelve. A nation that stands alone. Cold voices, faces pale, Gathered unto their judgement day. Such words remain unspoken. Such pride remains unbroken. Just mothers to stand in vain and cry. Tears and medals in the rain. Shall I recall when justice did prevail? No reason to be found why reason did fail. The all clear resounding. The way was clear to rebuild this land. Shall I call on you to guide me well, To see our hopes and dreams fulfilled? On this day of our ascension.

Paypal tales a percentatge off the top of each transaction, but otherwise, it's minimal.
Sending money via Paypal is free. You are never charged for it. However, receiving money via a Premier or Business account takes out a SMALL percentage.

That's correct.

How bout setting up a "swap meet" forum where members sell/buy whatever junk they want to get rid of, and Firstones gets a small cut? Say...5 - 10%?

Heh.
Anyhow, the forums are not even on our server right now. They are on the GAGames server. What is taking up so much bandwidth is all the downloads from the mods, etc.

I know that i'd love to help, but i can barely afford to keep my own server running. Finances suck.

No plan survives first contact with reality.
I hate that game, it's scary....people just want to get an ivanonva skinned female to go "play in bed" (assuming you have the "hot date" expansion) I've obviously seen someone play the game before, it's kinda weird.
Now, if they made a sims street riot edition I might look at it..
Well, if you have to, you could probably post the big files on like fileplanet, granted everyone would still be in line 5 days later..
WHAT??
