Finally getting settled in...

Thought I'd share some pics of the place...

This is over the course of several months so it goes from green leaves to autum/winter shots...

;)

Still a lot to do to the house over time...

I hate wallpaper and sheet rock. There will be much more wood finish in this house at some point...

    Nah, was all up North of us...

    Got rain, and black ice this morning, tomorrow mornings low (tonight basically) will be around 14 degrees F ...

    Will run the heater tonight, instead of messing with the fireplace.

    So have you already mapped whole cave?

    heh heh, I've been thinking about that actually. My first piece of business is shoring up the natural arch before I commit it to anything of use.

    I was actually thinking of cleaning it out as much as I could and leaving some salt licks and hay down there for the natural deer...

    I have a huge basement now, so it isn't like I need the bat cave or anything...
