The wife and I went through our first Tornado warning...

Damn cell formed up right over our new home. Slow rotation, and never managed to drop, but spooky non-the-less.

Weird knowing about it via dopler radar, and only seeing glimpses of things in the air via the occasional lightning flash stills...

All's clear now, and tomorrow will be sunny and freakin cold...

    Ah, welcome to the Midwest, where our weather bain is tornados. Having grown up on the edge of the flatlands of northern Missouri it was a common occurence in the spring, though its rare to see them this late in the year.

    I've seen tornados here in FLA, and had a waterspoit go through our back yard. :)
    (It's a big yard, tristed one small oak tree right around about two times...)
