"I am a leaf on the wind..."

Well, it had been a while since I did anything but model rigging in Layout, and once I saw Serenity, this picture just sorta popped into my head. I'd been saving the basic composition for another idea, but I decided that this was as good a use as any of the "Ship flying towards camera left over an ocean sunset" concept. Plus, it gave me a chance to try out Skytracer and a tutorial landscape and ocean plain that I hadn't made use of yet. Anyway, here's the picture.

    Looks great. Though if you want it to look more like on the show, add more motion blur and Serenity more out of focus

    That is great, just finished the series and the movie my self.

    Speaking of leaves on the wind Spoiler: Was anyone as said as I was to see Walsh go? Shepard dying didn't bother me so much, but I was really said to see them kill off Walsh. That said, it would be really cool to see River at the helm.

    In answer to your spoiler; yes. Pretty much everyone, in fact.

    As for the landscape, part of it comes from the fact that it's almost entirely in shadow, but I admit a lot came out of the fact that it looks pretty crappy, all in all.
