Am I the only one who thinks this show isnt as entertaining as it used to be.... Its actually very boring.. So boring that I have been forgotting to watch new episode every week...
oh yeah, i totally forgot about the latest episode. have to 'aquire' it. but yeah i think you're right, it has gone downhill a bit this season
• BigglesBiggles <font color=#AAFFAA>The Man Without a Face</font>
I think the content is as good as last season. The problem is the pacing has been random and mostly on the "please, let something happen!" side. The first episode had pretty good pacing, as did parts of the third. But apart from that it's sooooo slow! It feels like they're trying to stretch it out so that it lasts longer or something.
• RhettRhett (Not even a monkey)
I think that there is definately a feeling of streching things out... maybe to build up for a whirlwind of a second half (I hope) or maybe they just dont have the ideas to make this go much longer. But I tend to think that there must be the ideas there, because there are so damn many questions that need to be answered. So far, second season to me has been very inconsistent- but Im still watching. Maybe this next episode in a few weeks will make things really interesting again.

I've lost the interest in Lost, though still watching it.

That show is still on? :D

Spoiler: By the way, they're still lost... :p

The general consensus in #firstones is that Lost is merely a shadow of its former self.

But its getting better again.
• Falcon1Falcon1 Elite Ranger
True Biggles but the last 2 eps have improved things a lot. Still not up to the highs of season 1 though.
• BigglesBiggles <font color=#AAFFAA>The Man Without a Face</font>
I wasn't so impressed with the most recent 2 eps.
• MundaneMundane Elite Ranger
Well, if the two last episodes was "ok", this one will suck :)
• Let's pbumpb this thread a bit...

Have you guys seen the finale yet, any thoughts?

I dont know what to think...

I just saw it last night, I rather enjoyed it, i liked all the crossovers in storylines.

Spoiler: Especially the Desmond<>Libby Desmond<>Kelvin<>Sayid,

It will also be interesting to see what happens with Walt/Michael, there is no way they just let them go free, i was actaully expecting the boat to blow up, i would assume that they will end up back on the island and blame it on the compass not working due to the EMP, but if they end up back on the island what happens, they can't go back to the camp, and they can't stay with the others. do they go native like Rousseau?
• WORFWORF The Burninator
Spoiler: They have to let Walt go for a very simple reason...the actor playing him is growing up, yet they've only been on the island for a few months.

Spoiler: They dont have to "Let him Go" they could blow him up, blow him up big big, just like Arnst, boom, goo, YAY!

anyhow, You are right, he's getting older and they have only been there a few months, i still kept expecting the boat to blow up.

Has anyone been following the Hansofoundation.org stuff?
• Spoiler:
What about the black smoke, the numbers, the others, polarbears, four toe statue, fake buildings, relations between every character we have seen, and the whole idea behind all of this nonsense?

And what about Sayid, and the highly skilled strike force... They have a boat too...

Two boats = Possible encounter

It's hard to imagine that they could put this all in a one packet.. But I sure hope they have a plan, like Cylons do...

Did you do "The Lost Experience" at all this summer? I wanted to, but with working 12-18 hours/day, 6-7 days a week, i just didnt have time,

There have been some secrets about the show, including the meaning of the Lost Numbers revealed during the experience.

Check out this Alvar Hanso video if you want to know what the "secret" of the numbers are

It's not really a spoiler, it doesn't reveal anything about the show really except the meaning of the numbers, although it does IMHO take a little mystery out of the Dharma Initiative.

The Official FirstOnes Betting Pool is now taking bets on there being more than 3 total episodes worth of actual content in season 3. With the revelation a few months ago that Abrams would be starting another new series this year, as well as directing the new Star Trek movie, odds currently stand at 478939 to 1 against.

By a totally staggering coincidence that is also the telephone
number of an Islington flat where Abrams once went to a very good party and met a very nice Television series whom he totally failed to get off with.
• So, how many members are there on this forum that haven't read tHHGttG? :)

I don't know, but whoever they are, they should be ashamed.

Not just read, cause remember it was a Radio Play before it was anything else, so you have to have listened, read, watched, read again, watched again, been buried in soft peat and recycled as fire lighters.
• WORFWORF The Burninator
All versions of the guide must be experienced, because like Star Trek, every incarnation is inconsistant. Unlike Star Trek, that doesn't ruin it.

• Entil'ZhaEntil'Zha I see famous people
Thats because unlike Star Trek, Douglas Adams (rip) intended every version to be slightly different, The man was a comic genius who died way way way way before his time.

I blame Douglas Adams for my love of british humor, I can't remember if i saw Monty Python or the HHGTTG BBC series first, i THINK it was HHGTTG.

I still try and re-listen to the radio drama at least once a year. and it still makes me laugh.

I grew up watching Monty PYthon.. when the other kids were watching "Pikku Kakkonen" a famous childrens show in finland, I was laughing my ass off to Monty Python..
