    The biggest problem with Google Talk is that it's yet another isolated network. If only they used the jabber protocol properly... Frankly I don't see any reason to shift from my current set up nor include google talk in it.

    Despite its problems, nothing touches Gaim. I'd love to see something kill AIM, and Google's got more a shot than anythign else, but it still strikes me as unlikely. Especially with a fairly questionable Jabber implementation, it seems like they missed the point.
