Signed. :)

While it's a neat idea in theory...It seems like the people here just want to see more action and have it end happily. Action may be ok, but a happy ending just doesn't seem like it would serve the movie in a way that would be of benefit. It's about judgement day, damnit :P

Happy ending? Where did it say that they wanted a happy ending? Did I miss something? :D Typical.

I was really happy with the ending.

The nukes and all. Just wanted to see what happened after that..

Maybe they should just do T4 instead?

I was happy with the ending too, it was most of everything leading up to the ending that sucked. And it seems like they are moving ahead with T4. I'd just like for T3 to be a decent link in the chain.

True...

TX was shit. I'd bone her, but she was nowhere near as scary as T-1000.

The fights were boring.

And acting was less than perfect.

Maybe just forget it ever happening, do a recap of T2 or some other 10-20 minute exposition prologue for T4?

I don't even understand why they decided to drop the T-1000 in favor of something with a skeleton. I mean, aside from having to avoid excessive cold and heat :D it was a fine, outstanding killing machine.

Oh, and I just have to add, T2: The Ultimate Edition is well worth the price. There are lots of extended/additional scenes that enhance the story in a major way.

Ok, Happier ending. :P Big epic battle, blah blah blah. I kind of thought a helicopter crashing into a military base was pretty snazzy, but then again, I'm apparently not the target audience.

I concur. Besides, I got it all brand new and shiny for 12 bucks back in the day. :D
• I don't sign internet petitions, and even doubt that those making them know how uneffective they can be (read http://snopes.com/inboxer/petition/internet.htm for a good critique).

An extended edition of T3 could be good, the movie was slightly disappointing (but I also think the ending was quite fitting), but I don't think that petition will work. If the campaign included printed letters, maybe.

My only gripe with the ending: the internet infrastructure gets destroyed, and even if it didn't the disruption into electronic communications from the atomic bombs would be fatal for the internet for several hours... yet the computers are using the Internet to take over the world?!!

BTW, if you get a chance to visit Universal Studios Florida there's a Terminator themed atraction. Enjoyable 3D action and effects. It's a sort of sequel to T2, including Ahnold in the screen.

I would like to point out that T2 was a really awesome movie even before this. The Ultimate Edition was simply bolstering this fact a bit further :D

I thought it had gotten inside the machines by that time already.. considering them going off and starting to wipe out humanity and all. And maybe it's just suspension of disbelief type of thing. I mean... How realistic is a giant space slugs having a millions of years old battle with big invisible space spiders? :angryv: :shadow1:

I mean, now that I think of it, they can't possibly kill Skynet anymore.. It's practically in every machine from the coffee maker into the Hunter/Killer..

Did they on purpose avoid doing them right or how they managed to screw it up that way?
There would have been so excellent illustration of nuke explosion in T2.

re: Nukes. I'm suspecting this is why skynet didn't nuke the base it was in. :P Also, they probably had the whole thing caged in to disperse the EMPs effects.
