Whats the classiest most expensive wine you ever had?
While its definitley not the most expensive wine I've ever had, the most interesting wine I ever had was a Port that actual comes from the Duro Valley in Portugal where Ports first originated.
most expensive wine, 12 euro for a bottle (the one mentioned above)
most expensive whisky in a pub, 13 euro for 2cl
most expensive whisky in the whisky store was some 1930 limited edition cask-strength whisky with the bottle in excess of 130 euro or more. luckily i din't have to buy for the 2cl i drank :D
as for whisky.. a good bunnahabhain (oh the whisky store now sells a 1977 cask-strength special edition for 109 euro.. so tempted) or a good glenfarclas (25yr old if you want a real good taste) or a balvenie 12yr. double wood are just stunning in taste

Never tried Black Sheep. Bombadier is extremely nice, as is Spitfire. Goliath Ale from the Wychwood Brewery isn't bad either. :)

black sheep is very nice. i was born just next to the brewery in yorkshire. never had bombadier before, but i did try spitfire and it wasnt one of my favourites. never tried goliath either. there was this one we had on the west coast called kildonan ale, and that was lovely

And what do you guys have against Smirnoff Ice? Try Tripple black then comment on it. It's like Alcoholic Sprite or something. :D
Culturally (at least in Britain), Smirnoff ice and all other alcopops are for Chavs, slags, underage drinkers, and "poofs who don't like the taste of beer". However, since you're a Yank, none of those labels apply. :D
SD, I'll buy a bottle of Black Sheep for the weekend, I always enjoy a drink after work on Saturday. I'll let you know how I get on. :)

Around here, alcopops are generally considered to be for teenie boppers.
They are considered to be for girls, but when your sucking down your Bicardi's raz while cleaning the residue off disasembled firearms from the 3000 rounds you just fired off that day, people tend to cut you some slack. :D
I've migrated to the good Canadian Whiskeys... I still like Jack Daniels, Wild Turkey, Southern Comfort, and Black Velvet, but I must be getting older or something. :p
I still love a few margaritas when I'm eating Mexican food though...
Recently I stopped drinking for a while though. Had a bad event that kinda killed it for me.
Been drinking so much ice water lately it ain't funny.

to quote some of my collage associates...
"SoCo will F*ck you up"
My cousin got me drunk by refilling my wine glass without me noticing, by the time I did notice I had drank almost the entire bottle. After that they went to SoCo and Jack Daniels, then som Calvados...
I dunno how much I drank, but I was wasted. No hangover though!
