the Jesus Incident

Lord RefaLord Refa Creepy, but in a good way
Just been reading this book on my sun time here, in two days downed 300 pages.. I have to say it is pretty good book. For someone who loves the idea of a AI gone "mad" it's a must. But but...

Its a sequel to book called Destination:Void from what I can gather.. or were there more? It's the Ship.. It seems like an interesting character.. Would've like learn more about it all.

anyway, droning aside, even with its flaws the book is a good time killer.

I've come down with a cold in the past couple of days, so I've taken the opportunity to get some rare reading time. I've just started reading The Integral Trees by Larry Niven (thanks, Jack! Still working my way through the pile :)). It's classic scifi like this that makes me wish I had more time to read.
  • I've been spending most of my time reading Nietzsche as of late, but I recently finished Alastair Reynold's Revelation Space, and I've got Redemption Ark sitting on my desk, right next to Quicksilver (Baroque Cycle) by His Exaltedness Neal Stephenson.

Frank Herbert? No more Dune books to read now....maybe I should get his other books..

If you like Herbert, you should read the Pandora series that I am reading now..

Destination Void is the prequel, Jesus Incident is the second, and the two that follow are Lazarus Effect and Ascension Factor.

I'm looking forward for more of Ship in each.. not sure if will be.. There was just something I liked about him/it in the Jesus Incident.
