every time i sit up or down, or even just bend over slightly like to get something out of the fridge i get this really bad pain in my lower back. its like its all seizing up. painkillers and anti-inflammatories dont seem to be helping. i think im gonna have to go to the doctor about it:rolleyes: can you get arthritus at 20?

    Slipped or herniated disc maybe...

    And yes you can have arthritis at 20, even younger. It progresses differently for different people.

    If you do have it, you've probably had it since birth, but just are now becoming aware of it.

    I have RA, runs in my family, I am really starting to feel it these days at 42, and I know within a decade I'll be hurting bad...

    sucks.

    thats what i was afraid you'd say. well im going to the docs next week so hopefully i'll get some answers
