Batman Begins
Lord Refa
Creepy, but in a good way
in Zocalo v2.0
Anyone else waiting for this movie?
Seems it could be a kickass one. Blade's opening sequence but with more umph.
Okay. Maybe not gory and all that, but the teaser and most of the trailers look cool as hell. And Patrick Bateman as Batman... Well.. It cant be as bad as Batman & Robin no matter what.
Looking forward to seeing it.
Just too bad Katie Holmes wont be naked in it..
(watches Gift in auto-rewind mode on some scenes)

Extremely optimistic. Great director and an unrelentingly excellent cast. The entire image of the film just feels right. Probably better than all the previous Batman movies combined (I saw some of Batman and Robin, and though 8mm was pretty decent, I hope Joel Schumacher dies in a car crash).
:D I don't think anyone found the whole nipple thing attractive but maybe we should ask....
Croxis what ya think did the batnipples do it for ya?
MY favorite Schumacher movie = Falling Down
that movie cracked me up for years!

I remember seeing a making of thing where they mentioned they had a bit of a conundrum when it came to making batgirl's (or whoever she was) suit. Should they put nipples on or not?
I don't remember having batboobs[!]
Edited for my own nefarious purposes. :nervous:
It seemed relevant.

When did I become the bad guy?
I liked it..
It's a good movie.
Falling Down was a very good movie...

Patrick Bateman? Is that an alias for actor Christian Bale, who is Bruce/Batman in Batman Begins?
Edited for my own nefarious purposes. :nervous:
WAIT!
Yes I do...

Curses...foiled again!
I can't wait to see it again ~ this is the best movie of the Summer ~ I don't think anything else is going to come along that's better. (Given the garbage Hollywood has been giving us as of late that might not be saying much.)
I can't wait for the next one either. Been a while since I've walked out of a theater happy I spent $5-8.00 on a ticket.
(Given the garbage Hollywood has been giving us as of late that might not be saying much.)
If by "as of late" you mean "since about 1980," then I agree completely. Sin City and Batman Begins are the only two decent movies to have come out of Hollywood this year, and both are spectacular.
Now if only Bruce Campbell would make another movie... Bubba Ho-Tep was amazing.

Lol! :) I get it. Patrick Bateman was the role he played in American Psycho. Great movie BTW. Although if you enjoyed the movie I would strongly recommend you read the book. Its so much better. The movie looks like a PG rated version of the stuff that happens on the book :D

Read it in the army. ;)

Patrick Bateman: I'm into murders and executions!
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Patrick Bateman: That's a very expensive glass of Chardonnay you're NOT drinking there. It isn't poisoned.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Patrick Bateman: Harold, you're my lawyer, so I think you should know... I've killed quite a few people.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Patrick Bateman: You are a fucking ugly bitch and I want to stab you to death and play with your blood.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Patrick Bateman: Not quite blonde, are we? More of a dirty blonde.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Patrick Bateman: I like to dissect women. Did you know I'm totally insane?
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Patrick Bateman: Sabrina, don't just stare at it. Eat it.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Patrick Bateman: My need to engage in homicidal behavior on a massive scale cannot be corrected, but, ah, I have no other way to fulfil my needs.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Patrick Bateman: There is an idea of a Patrick Bateman; some kind of abstraction. But there is no real me: only an entity, something illusory. And though I can hide my cold gaze, and you can shake my hand and feel flesh gripping yours and maybe you can even sense our lifestyles are probably comparable... I simply am not there.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Waiter: Would you like to hear today's specials?
Patrick Bateman: Not if you want to keep your spleen.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Patrick Bateman: I have all the characteristics of a human being: blood, flesh, skin, hair; but not a single, clear, identifiable emotion, except for greed and disgust. Something horrible is happening inside of me and I don't know why. My nightly bloodlust has overflown into my days. I feel lethal, on the verge of frenzy. I think my mask of sanity is about to slip.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Patrick Bateman: When I see a pretty girl walking down the street, I think two things. One part wants me to be real nice and sweet and treat her right.
David Van Patten: And what did the other part think?
Patrick Bateman: What her head would look like on a stick!
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Patrick Bateman: Do you like Phil Collins? I've been a big Genesis fan ever since the release of their 1980 album, Duke. Before that, I really didn't understand any of their work. Too artsy, too intellectual. It was on Duke where, uh, Phil Collins' presence became more apparent. I think Invisible Touch was the group's undisputed masterpiece. It's an epic meditation on intangibility. At the same time, it deepens and enriches the meaning of the preceding three albums. Christy, take off your robe. Listen to the brilliant ensemble playing of Banks, Collins and Rutherford. You can practically hear every nuance of every instrument. Sabrina, remove your dress. In terms of lyrical craftsmanship, the sheer songwriting, this album hits a new peak of professionalism. Sabrina, why don't you, uh, dance a little. Take the lyrics to Land of Confusion. In this song, Phil Collins addresses the problems of abusive political authority. In Too Deep is the most moving pop song of the 1980s, about monogamy and commitment. The song is extremely uplifting. Their lyrics are as positive and affirmative as, uh, anything I've heard in rock. Christy, get down on your knees so Sabrina can see your ass. Phil Collins' solo career seems to be more commercial and therefore more satisfying, in a narrower way. Especially songs like In the Air Tonight and, uh, Against All Odds. Sabrina, don't just stare at it, eat it. But I also think Phil Collins works best within the confines of the group, than as a solo artist, and I stress the word artist. This is Sussudio, a great, great song, a personal favorite.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Craig McDermott: I'm not really hungry, I just need to have reservations somewhere.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Patrick Bateman: Wasn't Rothschild originally handling the Fisher account? How did you get it?
Paul Allen: Well, Halberstram, I could tell you... but then I'd have to kill ya!
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Patrick Bateman: I'm on a diet.
Jean: What? You're kidding, right? You look great... so fit... and thin.
Patrick Bateman: Well, you can always look thinner.
Jean: Then maybe we shouldn't go out to dinner. I wouldn't want you to lose your willpower.
Patrick Bateman: That's okay. I'm not very good at controlling it anyway.

Maybe the fact that I had decorated my locker with images from MPD Psycho manga's victims had little something to do with it all...
The pretty first one, with the main guys girlfriend with her limbs chopped off floating in somewhere.
