    I use it to keep in touch with one of my brothers, the only problem is my ropey old laptop tends to bluescreen at inconvenient moments, that's not a problem with normal phones.:rolleyes:

    I called one of my clients recently and was cut off just as he answered. his phone (mitel ip phone system) had crashed.

    hopefully the hotline in the whitehouse doesn't work that way.

    I don't consider the IP phones that do things like integrate with outlook to be normal phones. I consider them to be convoluted and crash-prone, having had experience with them. :D
