Kupo!
in Zocalo v2.0
This game has completely destroyed my life!
My primary character, Arkady Svidrigailov (N/Mo20, with about eighty hours of playtime) is at Droknar's Forge saving up for the 15k armor and a Sigil, while Avdotya Raskolnikov (Mo/E), Darwii Odrade (Me/E), and Rabban Harkonnen (R/Me) are still dawdling about in Post-Searing Ascalon. My Guild, Fish Speakers (my geekiness knows no bounds), has only three people at the moment, but we're planning on moving into PvP once we've unlocked some good skills and items.
Anyone else as hopelessly addicted as I am?

I've actually been playing way too much, but it's so much fun to play with my guild "The Foundation" [TF]. :)
The thing I'm doing at the moment is to get skills and farm after runes. I still want that Superior Vigor run unlocked.
I started with my Ranger and that's the one I'm furthest along in the main plot. Still only a level 9, but I'm not in a rush.
Overall great game and I like it much better than Anarchy Online even though they are not really the same.
I have more life sucking magic then I know what to do with, lets me take on muhc more powerful foes. :D
oh, one little tip. Do as many quests that gives skills as rewards before buying the skills from a skill trainer. My primary character bought way too many and I got a problem with skill points now.
I'm heading in the same direction--I bought just about every skill available up to Denravi, and now I'm contemplating which (possible minor, minor spoilers) secondary class to change to for the 15-attribute point quests.
Speaking of which: can I only do one? Or can I mess around and see what secondary I like best? I really like N/Mo and would like to be able to switch back.
Not sure about using Mesmers either... I'm a Warrior/Ranger/Monk kind of player and even the Elementalist side of my first Ranger character is pretty weak.
Also, from what I've read, ANet is working on beefing up Pre- and Post-Searing Ascalon in an effort to give the game more direction.

You can change to any secondary profession you want and you will still keep the skills when you change back, same goes for the pet if you were a secondary ranger with a pet. Also, if you change and want to change back you have to do the profession path quest of your old profession. But you can change secondary how ever you like, it won't cost you anything.
Working on my Ranger/Monk... level 7 and still in pre-searing Ascalon. I won't leave until I've completed all quests there.
If you actually want a guild go to www.GWonline.net and look through their forums for the GWOnline guild place. It's open for everyone, but got some very skilled players as officers. You may join and leave that guild at any time you want.
I do mostly quests and missions with henchmen or guild members. Almost allways when I've done mission with pickup groups they all want to do it their own way. But if you need any help, just ask me. :)
IMO, instead of founding a FO guild we could play some cool explorable areas together when everyone is lvl 20 or maybe make a Tombs PvP team and stuff like that.
;)
BAH! I never see anyone of you online. :(

Well, my boss won't let me play at work... which might explain why I'm not as far along in the game. I rushed my very first character into post-searing and I missed out on quite a bit and I lost skill points because of this, so this time around I'm taking my time to play the game. Besides I was experimenting a bit with different professions and so far I'm still sticking with both my monk/warrior and ranger/monk characters.
It can be bought from any dwarven merchant.
Edit: Not that you'll see me at all...not for another week +3
anyhoo....
You can BUY it? NOOOO! You can get Hunter's Ale outside of Ranik in pre-Searing Ascalon, some friends and I were going to stockpile tons of it and sell it at Lion's Arch. :(
indeed, you can buy it now. :-/
