FireFox deleted everything

Bookmarks, bookmark toolbar, saved passwords and form information, history, everything. Is there any way to recover it?

And yes, I did try rebooting.

    Is that the only thing thats missing? If your getting Profile corrupted or something similiar then your ram is going bad...Someone pointed that out to me & they were dead on. Replaced the ram everything works fine now.

    No error at all, everything is missing. RAM is fine.

    Actually missing from the disc or just not there when firefox starts?

    Use Run to start Firefox with this additional command:
    -profilemanager

    "Default" is the only profile option, and it doesn't contain my information. :(

    Check in the profiles directory and see if the info is still there. If it is, you can edit profiles.ini to add it back in as another profile.

    i had this problem a while ago. i couldnt be bothered trying to fix it tho

    Exile, in the future try using the Bookmark Backup extension ([url]http://www.pikey.me.uk/mozilla/[/url]) - it can save the day!

    Once, a long time ago (when reinstalling the OS)... I accidentally discarded my Mozilla settings directory (/home/user/.mozilla).

    Against that... nothing really helped. But in my case.... it didn't disappear on its own. Was destroyed because I forgot it.

    methinks this box is developing some real issues

    I find my stuff gets deleted when there is a crash and firefox is running. Did something like that happen?
