When I saw the topic, this bit of Midnight on the Firing Line came back to me:
G'Kar: "I'm assuming you're reffering to the attack on Ragish III by our forces. Just found out about it myself. I'm sure there's a perfectly resonable explanation."
Londo: "What 'reasonable explanation' is there for the slaughter of unarmed civilians?"
G'Kar:"Curious. We wondered the same thing when you invaded our world. The wheel turns, does it not ambassador?"
BigglesThe Man Without a Face
I don't think it could be, unless WB is suddenly giving out licenses again.

Last time I lived in Illinois was when I was in the Air Force, stationed at Chanute AFB and all I could see from my window was corn fields to the horizon...
Chanute AFB, home of the Gamm-77 and the other early guided/cruise missle training? Were you a teacher or student? Was your specialty engines or guidance (assuming you weren't stationed there for some other duty)?

Actually that was my training base right after Basic Training. I was a Silo Jockey for Minuteman III ICBM's. I eventually went on to Cheyenne Wyoming at F.E.Warren AFB as my Duty base.
I was brought in to learn the MM III so that I could be cross trained for the MX (Minuteman 4). Congress ruined that one in 1982...
I had to be able to repair radio, computer, power supply equipment, etc. that supported the Missile. They had seperate guys that actually worked on the missiles.

There are no corn fields near Hoffman Estates. My father lives there, and I live a few miles south of it. No corn, no cows, no silos. Sorry.
