Firstones UK meet Reminder

Just to remind people of the meetup.

We need to decide when and where to meet up.

The earliest Phi and I can get to temple meads is 10:30am (the buses are very 2 hours on Sundays).

The next bus gets in at 12:30pm.

It's probably best to get in early though.

    (To my knowledge, SB and Martian Dust are unable to make it.)

    I can get to Temple Meads at any time given 45 minutes notice. (I can walk it.)

    Ah, I didn't know MartianDust couldn't make it.

    Previous convention experience tells me that the earlier we get there, the better, even if that does mean getting up early on a Sunday.

    TBH guys, I was only really going there to see jms, and since I was going to leave early anyway because I need to revise; I won't be there for long. I have your tickets, so I'll meet up with you and see if they have any back issues of Gold Digger or any Charley's War stuff.

    Not that I know of; apart from a few select titles, my knowledge of comics is zero.

    Unfortionately, I didn't stay up to watch it. I've seen Patton before anyway, cracking film... (Although trust Channel 4 to put it on at 12:40am...) :rolleyes:

    Going back on-topic, meeting Worf and Phi was great, and their uber-cool Sith costumes turned a few heads, and they even got asked to have their photo taken! :)

    Unfortionately, there wasn't that much Babylon 5 stuff, but myself and Worf came away with a graphic novel each. There was also a fantastic piece of B5 artwork sighed by Bruce Boxleitner for £40, and despite being severely tempted, I turned it down. (Hopefully I'll be able to actually *have* something signed, at some point.) ;)

    Altogether, a great event; despite jms not being able to attend. :)
