Ok, this is what's going to happen.

On Sunday May 15th, Phi and I are going to the Bristol Comic Con, where JMS will be attending.

MartianDust and Morden279 are coming to meet up with us there.

But if anyone else wants to come, please do.

The meeting spot is outside Temple Meads trainstation, as that is right next to where the convention is. The time has yet to be decided.

So if anyone wants to come, post here and let us know to expect you.

    sounds good! i might be able to make it down there for the meet, but i'll have to let you know a bit nearer the time cos it looks like im going to be moving flat around that time

    Thats fair enough.

    If its any help, you can get some pretty cheap flights from Glasgow to Bristol Airport with Easyjet.

    yeah id definitly like to come along a meet you all. hopefully should know in a week or two whether i can make it, but i'll let you know

    YARR!!! There's a Wetherspoon's (The Commercial Rooms) within walking distance which is fantastic; fabulous regency interior and the beer's quite nice as well. ;)

    WORF, does jms know we're coming, or will we try and have a chat with him informally? It's just that I have a cool little pocket DV digital camcorder if the man himself doesn't mind being filmed.

    I have sent him an email but he hasn't replied.

    (you know, its kinda wierd to casually say I sent JMS an email).

    I'm not sure about filming him. We never asked any of the other people we've interviewed even though we had a dv camera with us.

    As for my participation, I wouldn't be able to stay for long I'm afraid, I'm determined to get some reision done inn time for exams, and Sundays are pretty much going to be devoted to that.

    Alpha-1: I'll be bringing along both a digital stills and a DV camcorder, so photos and videos should most definately be on the cards. If jms will let us, I'll film the interview if WORF manages to organize it.

    im afraid its looking increasingly unlikely that i'll be able to make it down:(

    i dunno if he's ever been asked this before, but i was hoping to ask JMS is he knew anything about who did the song for the bar fight scene on mars in s4. if you do get to interview him, would you be able to maybe slip that in? im dying to know who it was;)

    I think the song's author is mentioned in the commentary on the DVDs for that ep. I can't remember who it was though.
