Where is the Centauri love?

Where is it? Mohawks face the wrong way. Vegas camera catch tentesicles playing cards. The planet burns more often than in Asimov's Nightfall. Almost no one wears purple, and not a single X-prize ship looks Centauri?

As you can tell this is a world crisis of epic proportions. What can we do?
