Firefox pissing me off

This keeps happening when ever I scroll down a page it will randomly scroll all the way back up to the top. The reload page extension is off so its not that. Im thinking about reinstalling it because its pretty annoying.

    not reloading its simply scrolling to the top of the page at random times...

    Sometimes when I'm scrolling in one direction it'll spontaneously scroll once in the opposite direction, and then continue going where I told it to. I think it's just because I occasionally end the movement of my finger with the mouse wheel at just the right spot that it falls backwards.

    Turn off all your extensions and see if it still happens. If it doesn't, then turn them back on one at a time. I've had extensions that do wierd and unexpected things sometimes...

    do you have type-to-find enabled? because if you're like me, and you tap on the keyboard while idle... ;)

    anyhow, as they said: disable extensions.

    "Find as you type" is an incredibly nice feature of firefox that, as soon as you start typing, starts searching. However, it's actutally disabled by default (why, I don't know).

    It's disabled because the way some sites are coded, typing into text boxes results in automatic finding (and being unable to type on the page)

    I had to disable it because one of the sites I visit regularly has this problem... :/
