  Kind of reminds me of parts of the south Bronx, at least the abandoned buildings and interiors..well maybe not so much any more. There has been quite a bit of building in the south Bronx over the last couple of years.

  A year back, I saw photographs taken from the Chernobyl region by a motorcycle rider.
  
  Really desolate. But people should really not explore there. Radiative pollution persists, and sometimes builds up in unpredictable ways. There are certain objects one should avoid, and certain items one should not touch.
  
  Without a quality dosimeter, one might easily catch a massive dose. Thus, machines are far better suited to retreive such pictures.

  Aha. So part of the pictures were staged.
  
  Well... I doubt anyone bothered to stage the field full of abandoned trucks and helicopters (used in the extinquishing/rescue effort).
