well you see Dimethyl sulfoxide (DMSO) has some interesting properties, such as allowing certian other drugs to ride along with it through various membranes and absorb through the skin.. so a super soaker with DMSO/water solution combined with some from of tranquilizer.. need I say more?
OK, this is getting a little weird. But to get back on track, I've e-mailed Guy a reminder about the Fury, but it looks like he's out of the office for a few days. Hopefully, someone will be able to track this thing down.

Oooooooooh. Of course. You're absolutely right. It's carried at health food stores for that very reason - to help with the absorption of various remedies.
RubberEagleWhat's a rubber eagle used for, anyway?
You get DMSO at Healt food stores? hm......

Heh it has alot of uses, but unfortunatly exposure to DMSO is fairly obvious, it causes (with moderate doses in a concentrated form) the taste and oder of garlic to be percieved in the nose and mouth.
The best bet would be to dump a car-ful of students in the town with some beer money and the keys to your gaff.

Wait, we boddy checked our congressman yesterday, does that cound? (for the record we didnt see him before we attempted to turn him into part of the buildings floor)
I got a piece of the Southern goal post from the CU-Nebraska game back in Novmeber. And several signs that were "borrowed" from a couple of ski resorts.
Also in Boulder there is an intersection of Birch St. and Field Wy.

Just think of all the lives you've killed by removing that sign.
Figure each person who gets lost looses five minutes of their life driving around.
(We will not even take into account heart conditions related to the extra stress, the extra time the individual will have to work in order to pay for the extra gas, wear and tear on the car, the chance that the person will get in an accident when he/she is lost and trying to re-orient themselves.)
70yearsX52weeksX24hoursX60minutes/the five minutes lost = 7338240. So when that many people get lost as a result of the missing signs I think you should be charged with man slaughter.
We are not even going to take into account the bad Karma that will go around, the fact that because of the example you set more people will be likely to steal sign, and the fact that my tax dollars have to pay to replace the sign. The national GDP and productivity will go down. Because of you some person who would have cured a cancer will be late to work at the lab and might get fired.
Shame on you... put the sign back.

Actually, I'm resigned to the fact that I may never actually see the model. I always figured it would change hands from someone at Sierra to someone out on the west coast (like Randy) who knows the artist.
I just think that it should be returned to Julian if he wants it.
Hey, Randy...Julian is Peter Ledger's son, right? I know a little about Peter from Christy's website... the bronze plaque/headstone he created for his father's grave is incredible. No wonder that Starfury looks so good.

If we ever do get the Star Fury back, there will be plenty of pictures to go around, and I'm sure that once it finds a permanent home it'd be okay if it had an occasional visitor.
