Monthly post results
Random Chaos
Actually Carefully-selected Order in disguise
in Zocalo v2.0
In our purple vs gr<!-- nothing here -->een contest this month's winner is: Purple.
For the 2nd month in a row Purple is crowned king of the colors. This month I decided to factor in additional colors beyond purple and gr<!-- nothing here -->een. Blue was added to support Exile and Red was added in remembrance of Argone. Both of these later colors have a lot to work on if they wish to compete with the existing leaders.
So, now what everyone has been waiting for, the monthly scorecard!
Purple: 215
Gr<!-- nothing here -->een: 180
Blue: 11
Red: 3
Now considering the ammount of spamming that gr<!-- nothing here -->een was doing in the Warleader forum today, it seems important for me to break down the results a bit so that people can see how desperate gr<!-- nothing here -->een was to challenge us with spam:
Color | Total | Warleader | Not Warleader
-------+-------+-----------+--------------
Purple | 215 | 143 | 71
Green | 180 | 154 | 26
Blue | 11 | 3 | 8
Red | 3 | 1 | 2
As you can see gr<!-- nothing here -->een is in even more dismal shape after you exclude the warleader forum. Therefore any argument they wish to make saying that purple spammed there is completely mute since any purple responce was a direct result of gr<!-- nothing here -->een spam there.
Makes you kind of wonder why I seem to be Beachball's biggest supporter. It helps gr<!-- nothing here -->een more then my own color of purple...

theres a 20 second timer, I dunno how you bypassed it...but you did somehow...
anyhoo, you shall never manage to adjust the all time stats, nor googlefight. :)
Plurple wins by spamming, green by popularity. :D
And besides, if you ignore the warleader forum where all the spamming was going on, Purple clearly is WAY ahead!
[B]Oh come on, greeb was spamming like crazy over there too!

it's only spamming if your double posting IMHO, thus how you can have two green s bumping the thread, but when its just you with no one elses post in between? No, thats spamming, then you went off with like, 8 post in a row, and then we, TWO of us, couldn't post as much as you alone.
I still don't know how you managed that...
Also you must realize I had multiple versions of the thread open. Every time there was a post by your side I clicked reply. Becuase of the 20 second delay some looked like double posts becuase you posted in between. Almost every post of mine was a direct reply to a specific post by you of Cliffwr.
Purple does not cheat. Greeb does: This is clearly evidenced by bringing in an outside freind who has a total of 10 posts on the board to post about 20 greeb posts. My actions were specifically to counter this abuse.
And you started with the spamming in that thread, at which point he and I both started to counteract your start.
If you had simply replied in turn (Meaning after either he or I posted) then it wouldn't be an issue. He and I were posting in turn so as to avoid double post, then you jumped in with a bunch in a row, so we did the same, and you still posted 40 more then we did in the same time period.
So, who was spamming again?
no, not green, plurple was spamming
This is getting out of control.

Actually A%...let me grab some logs from IRC:
Before the Bump thread spamming:
[19:05] Purple is 35 posts ahead :D
After the Bump thread spamming (end of day, about 23:45):
215-180 = 35 posts ahead
I fail to see where Purple spammed 40 more posts then you. BTW - Biggles was witness to the original post in IRC so he knows I posted that way before you and Cliffwr started your run.
What both of us did was gain 50 posts for our respective colors in about a half hour. Both YOU and me. But at the end we were exactly the same numbre of posts apart!
Stop claiming what is clearly false: That you were right and we were wrong. We were both wrong. Biggles is right.
In that, yes we were both spamming, however you initiated it. When I started posting Green was 18 votes behind, not 40. That was at exactly 7:26pm.
at 7:33, you joined the fun, no problem, we were all going in turn
at 7:42 I noticed you had 4 post in a row, at which time I also started hitting reply as fast as I could to (Attempt) to keep plurple from getting an insane number of extra spammed votes ahead, to cancel it out. That was to no avail, obviously.
at 8:06, plurple was 35 votes ahead.
CliffWR posted a total of 22, with a single run of 7 continuous post, all the rest of his were in turn
I posted 23 times in that strech. max of 2 continuous
you posted a total of 36 times in that same period of time. max of four continuous, but almost all of yours were back to back.
so while yes, we were both spamming, get your numbers straight, and remember that you initiated the spam fest, which anyone can check for themselves on page 67 of the beachball.
I'm not trying to argue here, but I resent it being insinuated that we cheated, we didn't.
I'm just pointing out that I didn't intiate the spamming, and that RC's numbers were wrong, there was an 18 post differance when it started, not 35, thats easily enough obtained simply by looking at the post in the beachball, nothing more.
The whole green plurple thing is humerous pastime activity in friendly competition, nothing more, nothing less. :D
that said..... Green! :D :p
(ok, I was until I became a shadow...)
And I had done a run at 7:05 pm and posted it in IRC for biggles, et al. You were 35 posts behind Purple. You have no facts to back up your claim. We do.

Yea, that suffices as proof I'd say. :D
and the shadows are actually black and brownish grey, their beam is plurple true, but the rest? No. the species is not plurple though.
Not green either, but eh...tis the price I pay for being a lurker for so long. wasn't my preferance. :D
And shadows are still purple, or did you forget their beam weapon's color? :D
